We loaded up the truck and said some sad goodbyes, and then we were off.
We didn't get too far before we hit the bad weather! But the good thing about going 40-50 mph for most of the way is that our CR-V got 34mpg at one point...amazing!
And then the really bad weather in Idaho! There were times when we had to go 20 mph and could still barely see 20ft in front of us. Who's dumb idea was it move in the middle of winter anyways?
But we finally made it to sunny Colorado! It only took a couple of extra days and a few extra bucks, but at least we stayed on all four wheels (unlike another Uhaul driver that we saw in Wyoming).

we're so glad you made it the whole way on all your wheels. :) How's the apartment?? We miss you already!
Man - those pix of the U-Haul look frightening!! It really was treacherous at points wasn't it? I think I've finally gotten rid of those tension kinks in my neck and back! What an experience - glad we could help!!
